All Bell Housings Come From MerCruiser

Pre-Alpha

This is MerCruiser p/n 68417A1. It was used on Pre-Alpha drives made from approximately 1967 to 1975. It measures 7 1/16 across the (2) ears where the (2) 5/8 pull dowels are installed.

This replaces old p/n:
#46734A1, #63505A1 & #66156A6.

The (2) 5/8 pull dowels have a 1/4-28 thread in the center of them which is used for a slide hammer removal.

This bell housing comes with :
(1) mounting gasket set.
(1) seal and (2) bushings for shift shaft lever (installed).

It does not come with the shift shaft lever.

Pre-Alpha &
Alpha One

This is MerCruiser p/n 42815A6
( old #65535A4 ). It is used on all Pre-Alpha & Alpha One drives made from approximately 1976 to 1991.

This bell housing measures 7 7/16 across the (2) ears where the (2) 5/8-18 threaded hinge pins are installed.

This bell housing comes with :
(1) 5/8 brass water hose fitting.
(1) 3/4 brass water hose fitting.
(1) mounting gasket set.
(1) seal and (2) bushings for shift shaft lever (installed).

It does not come with the shift shaft lever.

Alpha One - Gen II

This is MerCruiser p/n 806031A2. It is used on all Alpha One - Generation II drives made from 1991 to Date.

This bell housing does not come with the nipple for the oil reservoir inside of the boat or the shift shaft lever assembly.

Bravo I, II, III

This is a Standard Bravo bell housing. It is MerCruiser p/n 41646A7 and is used on all Bravo I, II, III drive units which have Trim/Senders switches mounted on the sides of the gimbal ring. It requires (2) threaded hinge pin bolts ( not included ) and measures 7 3/8 across the 2 ears.

This bell housing comes from MerCruiser with the item listed below included but not shown:

	The lower shift cable.
	The thin aluminum rear bellows sleeve.
	(1) cooling hose plastic insert.
	(2) 1 1/4 stainless steel side washers.
	(1) brass hose barb for oil reservoir hose.

TR & TRS

This is MerCruiser p/n 62814A3. It is used on all TR & TRS drive units.

This is the only bell housing available for TR & TRS units. This bell housing is 8 1/8 inches across the 2 pivot ears. It has 5/8-18 threaded holes for the ( 2 ) hinge pin bolts. Older models which had ( 2 ) 5/8 thru holes and used pull dowels with stainless steel nails is no longer available.
