The parts shown below are used in the bell housing.

65 - 93 Pre-Alpha & Alpha One

This is Quicksilver p/n 26 - 45587 bell housing shift shaft seal. It is pressed into the bottom of the upper hole in the bell housing on Pre-Alpha & Alpha One drives. It will also fit Gen II drives Serial # OF094775 and below.

65 - 93 Pre-Alpha & Alpha One

This is MerCruiser p/n 23 - 805041A2 bell housing shift shaft seal upgrade kit. It is pressed into the bell housing on Pre-Alpha & Alpha One drives. It will also fit Gen II drives Serial # OF094775 and below.

The large diameter will extend into the exhaust cavity but will have no affect the exhaust. This upgrade kit now has 2 heavy duty seals installed compared to the one thin seal shown above.

The driver is not included with the kit.

The outside diameter of bushings is 5/8

94 & Up Alpha One/Generation II

This is MerCruiser p/n 23 - 806036A1 bell housing shift shaft seal kit. It is pressed into the bell housing on 94 & Up Alpha One/Generation II drives serial # OF094775 and above.

The driver is not included with the kit.

The outside diameter of bushings is 3/4

88 & Up Bravo

These are shift shaft parts which fit into the upper housing of Bravo drives.

This is MerCruiser p/n 23 - 861209A1 upper outdrive shift shaft seal kit. It is pressed into the upper outdrive housing on all Bravo drives.

The outside diameter of bushings is 11/16

The bushing kit comes with the seal but not driver.

65 & Up Side Fiber ( Synthane ) Washers

These .030 fiber washer have self adhesive tape on some of them. They stick onto each inside surface of the gimbal ring and are used as a side thrust washer for the bell housing. They are sold in a package of 1 each. Order a quantity of 2 to do both sides.

73 - 93 TR & TRS

This is MerCruiser p/n 26 - 48443 bell housing oil seal. It is pressed into the bell housing on TR & TRS outdrives. This seals the outdrive oil going to the reservoir inside of the boat.

Seal is 1 3/8 O.D. by .750 I.D.

88 & Up Gen II & Bravo

This is MerCruiser p/n 24 - 17997A1 Check Valve kit. It is pressed into the mounting surface of the upper housing on Alpha One/Generation II and Bravo drives.

This seals the outdrive oil going to the reservoir inside of the boat.
