MerCruiser uses many different model electric fuel pumps. Please get the numbers which are stamped into the side of your old pump and compare to the chart below to order a replacement.

All of our electric fuel pumps come directly from MerCruiser. The 3 pumps shown below are the most commonly used pumps.

This is MerCruiser electric fuel pump p/n 861155A6.

It is low pressure and used on many 4.3l engines with carburetors.

This is MerCruiser electric fuel pump p/n 861155A3
( old # 861155A2 ).

It is low pressure and used on many 4.3l, 5.0l & 5.7l engines with carburetors.

: Order # 55A3

This was MerCruiser electric fuel pump p/n 861156A1.

It is high pressure and used on many 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, 7.4L & 8.2L engines with fuel injection.

This fuel pump has been discontinued by MerCruiser. It DID NOT have any internal fuel line threads in the small end.
