Gimbal Bearing & Ring

This is an O.E.M. MerCruiser Link Belt gimbal bearing p/n 30- 60794A4. It can be used on all MerCruiser drives made from 1966 to date including Pre-Alpha, Alpha One, Generation II and Bravo up to 2000 with ser #OM100001 and below.

This bearing can be installed as shown with the 2 small cutouts facing towards the back of the boat. By doing this, you can turn the bearing sideways to remove it for replacement next time instead of using a slide hammer.

Please Note ! This Gimbal Bearing & Ring also comes with the tolerance ring.

This is MerCruiser p/n 61075 tolerance ring. It is included with the gimbal bearing above and is used to hold the gimbal bearing ring in place. It compresses as it is driven in.

It will fit on all MerCruiser drives.

This is MerCruiser p/n 26-88416 gimbal bearing grease seal. It will fit all MerCruiser drives.

This is driven in before the gimbal bearing and seals on the engine drive shaft.

2000 & Up Bravo Gimbal Bearing & Ring

This is an O.E.M. MerCruiser Link Belt gimbal bearing
p/n 30- 862540A3. It is used on newer Bravo drives made after 2000 and starting with serial #OM100001

This bearing has 1 side of the bearing ground down flush and must be installed with the red dot ( indicated ) facing outward toward the back of the boat.

You cannot turn this bearing sideways to replace it.

This bearing comes from Sierra Marine.
