Lower Carrier

This is MerCruiser p/n 52835A2. It is used on Pre-Alpha drives made from approximately 1965 - 1970.

It includes :

(1) Rear needle bearings ( installed )
(2) Standard propeller shaft seals ( installed )
(1) 4 3/8 locking tab washer ( shown below )
(1) 4 3/8 carrier nut ( shown below )

The total over all length of this carrier is 4 1/2 inches long.

This Carrier comes from MerCruiser.

This is MerCruiser p/n 818763A10 ( old #'s 73020A14, 73020A20 & 818763A4 ). It will fit all Pre-Alpha, Alpha One and Alpha One/Generation II drives made from approximately 1971 - Date.

It includes :

(1) Rear needle bearings ( installed )
(1) Standard propeller shaft seal ( installed )
(1) Fishline cutter propeller shaft seal ( installed )
(1) Round zinc anode
(1) 3 7/8 o-ring
(1) Stainless steel key
(2) Stainless steel screws and lock washers

The total over all length of this carrier is 5 1/2 inches long.

1988 - Date Bravo 1
Lower Carrier

This is MerCruiser p/n 41641A8 lower carrier. It will fit standard Bravo 1 lower units made from 1988 to Date.

It will not fit Bravo 1 XR, XZ, Bravo 2 or Bravo 3 drives.

It includes :

(2) Standard propeller shaft seals ( installed )
(1) Outdrive oil drain plug ( installed )
(1) Round zinc anode
(1) 3 7/8 o-ring
(1) Thrust washer ( .105 thick )
(1) Load ( or crush ) ring
(2) Stainless steel screws and lock washers

The total over all length of this carrier is 4 5/8 inches long.

This Carrier comes from Quicksilver.
