Alpha Couplers
These are triangular engine couplers. They
were used on SOME Alpha drives made from 1984 - 1990. Now they have a
tube attached with a grease fitting so you can lubricate the drive shaft splines
without removing the outdrive as long as your old drive shaft has the extra o-ring
grove cut into it to keep the grease from coming out around the end of the shaft instead of
going through to the splines.
It is always best
to remove your old coupler before ordering a replacement.

These couplers
come from Sierra Marine and include ( 3 ) bolts and ( 3 ) rubber pads.
4 cylinder
coupler bolt holes would measure 11 5/8 inches apart if it were a full circle (
5.812 from center ) : Order #

V-6 & V-8 coupler bolt holes would measure 12 5/8 inches apart if it were a
full circle ( 6.312 from center ) :
