TR & TRS Upper Bearing Holder

This is MerCruiser p/n 91- 63625T upper bearing holder.

After removing the top and rear cover from a TR or TRS drive unit, this is then bolted to the (4) rear cover bolts to hold the drive gear bearing assembly in place when removing or installing the large nut at the rear of the engine driveline.

Damage can result without supporting the rear bearings because when the rear cover is removed, the back of the assembly moves all over.

The nut at the end of the driveline requires 200 foot pounds of torque to loosen or tighten the assembly.
