This is MerCruiser p/n 860256A4 Stainless Steel thermostat housing. It is used on later model V- 8 G.M. engines.

It can be used in place of #87290A4 & #861006A1 with shorter bolts ( not included ).

This comes from Sierra Marine with all parts shown.
