Freeze Plugs
This is
MerCruiser freeze plug ( Welch Plug ) p/n 19- 32652. It is 7/8 in diameter and is
pressed into the upper housing on Pre-Alpha drives made from 1968 - 1983.

is pressed into the upper housing on Alpha One drives made from 1984 - 1990.

Note ! Gen
II and Bravo do not have any freeze plugs.
Gen II Wear Pads
These wear pads
are sold separately for Generation II drives made from 1991 - Date
They slide in
from the front edge of the upper housing and snap into a hole at the back ( or
round edge ) of the wear pad.
Pre-Alpha and
Alpha One drives do not have any wear pads.
Each pad is .090
thick.

Bravo Wear Pads
This is
MerCruiser wear pad kit # 805261A1. It is only available in a kit with both
sides being sold together. They will fit all Bravo drives.
They slide in
from the front edge of the upper housing and snap into a hole at the back ( or
round edge ) of the wear pad.
Each pad is .060
thick.
