This is MerCruiser p/n 46020T gear end yoke. It is used on Pre-Alpha, Alpha One & Generation II drives made from 1965 - 1997.

This has a 2 1/4 diameter for the oil seal to ride on

Item # 2. Retainer Nut

This is MerCruiser p/n 816881-2
( old # 66071 & 816881-1 ) retainer nut. It is used on Pre-Alpha, Alpha One & Generation II drives made from 1965 - Date. It is 3 7/8 in diameter.

Bravo retainer nut is MerCruiser p/n 11- 92044.
Bravo nut is 4 inch in diameter and will not fit Pre-Alpha or Alpha.

Retainer Washer

This is MerCruiser p/n 35983 retainer washer. It is used on Pre-Alpha, Alpha One & Generation II drives made from 1965 - Date. It fits between the 3 7/8 retainer nut and oil seal carrier. The raised edge pushes against the 3 7/8 diameter o-ring to seal the gear oil from leaking around the outside.

This is MerCruiser p/n 25- 70937 o-ring. It is 3 7/8 inch O.D. and is used on Pre-Alpha, Alpha One & Generation II drives made from 1965 - Date

Gear End Yoke Oil Seal

This is MerCruiser p/n 26- 823894 ( old # 26- 68493 ) oil seal. It is used on Pre-Alpha, Alpha One & Generation II drives made from 1965 - Date.

This seal is pressed into ( Item # 5. ) the oil seal carrier assembly.

Outside diameter is 3 inches

Inside diameter is 2 1/4 inches

Gear End Yoke Oil Seal Carrier Assembly

This is MerCruiser p/n 66081A2 oil seal carrier assembly. It is used on Pre-Alpha, Alpha One & Generation II drives made from 1965 - Date. This comes with the 2 1/4 inside diameter oil seal installed.

This is the only way you can get the aluminum carrier is with the seal installed.
