Propeller Shaft Oil Seals

Pre-Alpha, Alpha, Bravo I & TRS Standard Seal

This is MerCruiser p/n 26-76868. This seal is used from approx. 1965 thru Date on Pre-Alpha, Alpha, Generation II, Bravo I & TRS drives. This seal goes in 1st with the spring facing the front of the boat. The fishline cutter seal ( shown below ) goes in last with the metal jacket facing towards the rear of the boat.

Note ! Bravo 1 only requires 2 of these seals.

Pre-Alpha, Alpha & TRS Fishline Cutter Seal

This is MerCruiser p/n 26-12224. This seal is used from approx. 1965 thru Date on Pre-Alpha, Alpha, Generation II & TRS drives. The sharp inside edge of this seal is used to cut fishline before it goes into the lower unit.

Note ! Will not fit Bravo 1.

This is MerCruiser p/n 26-821092. This seal is used from approx. 1965 thru Date on Bravo II & TR drives. You can use 2 of these seals back to back or one of these seals along with one fishline cutter seal which is what we recommend.

This is MerCruiser p/n 26-814242. This seal is used from approx. 1965 thru Date on Bravo II & TR drives. The sharp inside edge of this seal is used to cut fishline before it goes into the lower unit.

This is MerCruiser p/n 26-19473. This seal is used from approx. 1965 thru Date on # 3 Speedmaster drives only. You have to use 2 of these seals back to back because they do no make a fishline cutter seal for Speedmaster.
