U-Joint Bellows Adhesive

Don't forget the glue. This is MerCruiser p/n 92- 86166Q1 bellows glue.
All bellows are glued and clamped in place.
Generation II and Bravo only glue 1 end of the bellows which face the front of the boat. All others glue both ends.

Pre-Alpha, TR & TRS

This boot was used from approx. 1965 thru 1971 on Pre-Alpha, TR & TRS drives. It is 5 inches long, has a 4 1/4 inside opening on both ends and has no internal ridge ( arrow ).

This boot comes with 2 clamps. It is recommended to use glue on both ends of this boot.

Pre-Alpha, Alpha One,
TR & TRS

This boot was used from approx. 1972 thru 1990 on Alpha One, TR & TRS drives. It is 5 inches long, has a 4 1/4 inside opening on both ends and has an internal ridge ( arrow ) to help hold the boot on.

This boot comes with 2 clamps. It is recommended to use glue on both ends of this boot.

Generation II

This boot is used from approx. 1991 to Date on Alpha One Generation II drives only. It is 5 inches long, has a 4 1/4 inside opening on the boat end and is held in place from the inside on the back end with the use of an internal expander sleeve ( arrow ).

This boot comes with 1 clamp and 1 expander sleeve. It is recommended to use glue on the boat end and lots of soapy water inside of the bell housing end to help while driving the sleeve in.

Bravo I, II, III

This boot is used on Bravo I, II, III drives only. It is 6 inches long, has a 4 1/4 inside opening on the boat end and is held in place from the inside on the back end with the use of an internal expander sleeve ( arrow ).

This boot comes with 1 clamp and 1 expander sleeve. It is recommended to use glue on the boat end and lots of soapy water inside of the bell housing end to help while driving the sleeve in.

# 3 Speedmaster

This boot is used on # 3 Speedmaster drives only. It is 6 inches long, has a 5 1/4 inside opening on both ends and has an internal ridge ( arrow ) to help hold the boot on.

This boot does not come with any clamps. It is recommended to use glue on both ends of this boot.
